CAMEO is a house in pale travertine and warm timber, set high enough that the hills fill its windows. The rooms are kept quiet and the colour is given to a few things only: a painted roundel over the dining table, a fire set into a curved stone wall, the stone of a powder room. Beneath the stair a bar is built into the turn of the flight, with planting at its foot.

Bar / Two Options

The bar sits in the turn of the stair. Two counters were drawn for it: one fluted along its whole length, one built up of stone blocks stepping down to the floor.

Powder Room / Four Options

One room, one camera, four stones. The vanity, the pebble mirror and the lights stay where they are; only the stone of the vanity changes, and with it the whole room.

Primary Bedroom / Three Options

The bed stays and the wall beside it changes: a wardrobe fronted in glass, open shelving, or a dressing table with its mirrors.

Living / Kitchen
