MAREA is a residence high over the ocean, drawn in pale stone, warm timber and deep green. A kitchen island is cut from a single block of veined stone beneath rings of light; the living room is low and wide along the glass; and a covered terrace carries the house outdoors, with a long table, planting and a fire set in a ring of timber.
Living / Kitchen
Kitchen and living room share the length of the glass. The island is a block of stone, the armchairs are green, and shelving in timber holds a collection.
Primary Bedroom
The bedroom repeats the green against panelled walls, with columns of light beside the bed and a desk built into the shelving.
Covered Terrace
The terrace is a room without walls: a table for twelve beneath a ring of light, lounges among planters, a fire and a basin cut from stone.
