LUMEN is a residence of pale timber and linen, its rooms divided by screens of timber slats rather than walls, and opened at every turn to the sea. Sofas are carved in timber and upholstered in linen, a long table sits beneath a single light, and bonsai stand at the windows against the water.
Living
The living room runs the length of the glass beneath a timber ceiling. The furniture is low and carved, and the sea is the only colour in it.
Dining
A table for twelve beneath a long light, its chairs curved in timber, set where the view is widest.
Lounge
Beyond the screens a second lounge is built around lit shelving, the rooms glimpsed through the slats from one to the next.
