VOLGA BLUE is a stand built entirely of one stone, a blue granite flecked with light. Its counter is a single long block on a granite plinth, its speakers are cut into stone and steel, a fire burns in a wall of it over a bench of rough-hewn granite, and a bath of the same stone sits in a box of light at the end of a corridor.
The Stand
The stand from the aisle: a long counter on its plinth, the name wall above it, and speakers cut in stone.
Within
Inside, a corridor between granite walls leads to a bath in a box of light, shelving lit within the stone, and a fire set in the wall.
Reception
Reception between two blocks of lit onyx, and the stand in elevation.
